lets make sure we all agree with this definition first. Frydenberg put it all in a beautifully edited mishmash that created a sense of why antisemitism must needs be banned. I fully agree with the above and with Frydenberg. in memorial 6 million people who happened to have been born into the Jewish belief. and they have very right to live the way they want in peace within the community.
what is particularly bad is the spike in antisemitic vandalism. this could be an organised thing or it could be a few random guys who want to do stupid and hateful things. did the police catch these people? were they gentile? or Muslim? or we can't rule out that the offender may even be Jewish.
but where I disagreed was conflating antisemitism with the rightful and peaceful protests of a great many hundreds of thousands of Aussies, many of whom were born into a different belief. many Muslims know how Jews must feel when treated badly in the community.
its a fraught issue to claim protests are antisemitic when they're calling for peace.
its not Jews the protesters are about. its Netanyahu and his cronies.
its the brutal inhumane treatment of innocent people which Netanyahu has ordered to be starved and dried to death
many thousands, even hundreds of thousands of Jews are very angry at Netanyahu's actions as reported in numerous media sites, and are regularly protesting against Netanyahu in Israel. are they antisemitic?
