40dgs yesterday, same for today and tomorrow, and summer has just started. Thank heavens for air con, until the power bill comes in. I believe this heat wave is coming to the eastern states. Be prepared. Watched magnificent train journeys through Switzerland last night. Love that country, spent a month there a few years ago. First time I went there was as a 19-year-old. Wonder what keeps calling me back. Still wearing the ring, I purchased then. An Armani original, the number of offers I've had for it, have lost count. At the time didn't even know who Armani was, just fell in love with it. Still haven't made up my mind for my travels in 2025, usually by this time have booked flights and accommodation. The dollar misbehaving, along with the market not helping matters. Why do I feel so unsettled. The builders better come back in early January and finish the job they started, not impressed. It's been a very strange year, brilliant trip to Canada and Alaska, and recently the very sad passing of a very dear friend, and now another close friend having to go into care because of health reasons, and another with Alzheimer's. Life can be a bitch at times. Wonder what 2025 has in store for us all.
