    ...imagine following Buffett to buy Occidental, want to be a patient long term investor?
    ...perhaps making 20% return after 5 years?
    ...like buying CSL still down -0.2% after 5 years? So what if it is a great company?
    ...OXY lost its lustre after 2011, it may be cheap just like the Chinese stocks, but what consolation is cheap if the stock does diddly squat. Even if OXY were to reclaim its all time high, it would be just a 2x gain, which isn't all that spectacular considering the large gains that US techs have had provided and then it won't be able to hold onto the gains because it is by nature CYCLICAL.

    Warren Buffett has lost $2 Billion on Occidental Petroleum so far... He owns about 28% of the company and he keeps on buying the dips.
